Hey human body, you’re pretty incredible!! πŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌ

You grew this perfect human, birthed him, and are now sustaining his life with something that your body is producing. Omgeeeee πŸ€―

One thing I focused on leading up to this pregnancy, and continue to focus on now is something that we don’t always take as seriously as we should: SELF CARE πŸ€ŸπŸΌ

For the longest time, I walked around like a constipated, puffy bellied, brain fogged zombie who was obsessed about my weight. Like for so long that I thought that it was just normal to feel that way πŸ˜

You know why I’ve learned and what’s wild?

When the body gets the nutrients it uniquely needs, metabolic fire ignites. We release excess weight. Hormones naturally balance. Pain dissipates. Blood pressure and blood sugar normalize. Sleep improves and energy increases. πŸ‘ŒπŸΌ

And get this β€” WE DONT FEEL LIKE SHIT! πŸ’©

A few years ago, I decided i was ready to stop eating unhealthy, energy draining foods that sucked the life and motivation out of me. πŸ₯³

So I eat food. Real food. A lot of it! And have the energy, clarity and regularity to keep up with this sweet babe, our busy 5 year old, my business, and everything else that is happening in our wild little world πŸ˜œπŸ˜†

What feels so good is not being stressed or obsessed about making my way back into my pre pregnancy clothes, because I know over time it will be a welcome side effect πŸ‘ŒπŸΌ

What about your body are you celebrating today?
