Pear Sauce

Inspired by an influx of fall fruit.

What you’ll need:

Any number of pears (at least a half dozen to make it worth your while), quartered, seeds removed

Place pears in a saucepan or large soup pot, depending on how many you have.  Fill bottom of pot with about 1-1.5 inches of water.  Bring to boil, reduce to a simmer.  Add a generous squeeze of honey and a tsp of so of cinnamon.

Puree  to desired consistency using an immersion blender if you have one (if you don’t, you should get one).  Or, allow to cool and transfer to a blender.
